I think “it sure would be nice if I had a piece of equipment that _____”, you fill in the blank. Has your tree stand ever creaked? Has the wool from your mitten gotten caught on the thumb safety of you rifle while the deer watched (this happened to me near Leesburg, Virginia!)? Has your arrow fallen off of the rest just as you were half way to a full draw on a Royal Bull Elk? You start to make a mental list of the things that will make your hunt next week or next year more successful.
